Salvation is found in no-one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 

The good news of Jesus is hard for some people to take. Only the humble can receive the message of Jesus as the good news of salvation. The proud find it bad news because it denies them a share in the glory for their salvation. Salvation is a gift freely given, so glory goes to God alone.(taken from Phil Moores book on Acts)

Back in the first century people were offended by the gospel and over 2000 years later people are still offended. We shouldn’t allow this to water down our love for Jesus or to apologise for our faith. I love Jesus and I’m not afraid to tell the world.
