We travelled 200 k in coverted VW camper vans, 9 seater, they call them combi’s. Was an interesting trip. We were heading for a place called Pirenopolis to a nature reserve.

Before we could get there we had to ascend and descend a mountain before getting there, and yes you guessed it, in The combi. The roads were dust, bumpy and at points scary. I have to admit a few prayer were said by me and some others.

When we arrived we paid 20 real and walked to what has to be the most beautiful waterfall I have seen, it had its own beach even though we are 1000’s of kilometres from the sea. We spent most of the day there chilling and jumping off the fall. We also explored and found another wonderful fall.

We left the park at 4 and explored the local town, found somewhere to eat and then headed home at 8pm. One of the combi’s broke down meaning most of the journey was spent with our fingers in our ears due to a very loud exhaust, all adds to the fun, LOL.

Another day has gone, time is flying, it will soon be time for home which I am sad and happy about all at the same time.
