PASTORAL CARE IN CHRISTIAN LIFE CHURCH
HOW IT WORKS
At CLC we love and care about people. Being part of a Lifegroup is normally the first place people access care. We encourage:
Encouraging people, as best they can, to take responsibility for their own lives
Recognising we need to support each other
Believing situations can be transformed when we pray in the power of the Holy Spirit
Directing people to the Biblical truth, relevant resources and referrals that will help them
HOW DO I GET HELP?
Firstly, we encourage you to join a Life group and to share your needs with the group leader. If he or she is not the best person to help you he/she will contact the pastoral support team.
Leaders and the Prayer Team are available to pray with you at the end of Sunday meetings.
If you feel that speaking to your Life group leader is not appropriate in your situation you can ask for help by;
Speak to an elder or leader at a Sunday meeting
Fill in a Connect card at a Sunday meeting
Contact the office to request pastoral care 01432 271071
If you request help, somebody from the pastoral support team will contact you to assess how we can best support you.
Personal information will be treated as confidential. If information is disclosed that indicates risk to children or vulnerable adults, danger to themselves or others, or that a crime has been committed, then confidentiality may be set aside.
By accepting support from the church, you are agreeing to the keeping of brief records about the care you receive in accordance with the data protection act.
